Good morning all from a damp Glasgow.
I am glad to hear your DD is safely, home Kitty, I hope things settle down.
Yesterday was rather busy and fraught.
A received a call from the soap opera star, saying her film crew were filming locally and they needed somewhere to shelter from the torrential rain to have their lunch.
She would have asked the P.P, but of course he is incommunicado.
I ended up racing around Sainsbury's, trying to get back in time.
When I got their the Toddler's group were leaving and before I knew it, I found myself promising to publicise their group, designing posters, advertising on the website and putting a note in the bulletin. I never learn.
I had an interesting talk with the leader, whose husband took his play about Gaudi to the Edinburgh Fringe last week.
I mix in interesting circles!
Later, I went back down to open the hall for the Safeguarding training. To my horror, my key wasn't on the chatelaine ring and the trainers arrived at that moment! I was in a total panic.
I phoned DH, to ask him to check and see if I had dropped it, but DD answered! My lovely DD eventually found it ( it had come off the ring). and kindly brought it down. Panic over.
I got home really late, due to the fact that a lady, who lived miles away, hadn't been picked up. The reason: her husband was in Morrisons in Giffnock , twenty minutes away, buying yoghurts!!! Things were rather tense!
I couldn't leave her on her own, waiting in a secluded and dark car park.
Today, I have an injection delivery. Normally I would need to stay in, but DH is conveniently awaiting a beer delivery and he is authorised to sign for it.
I am going to nake apple crumble from the twig, Mizuna, raspberry and banana muffins for BabyD's breakfast tomorrow and some bread. I certainly won't be bored.
Mizuna, I hope todays appointment goes well and hugs for my pal, Kalu.
Have a good day, folks.
