These postings have cheered me up! So glad there are others out there who just swallow their pain medication with whatever drink is on hand. No doubt someone will come along and tell us how irresponsible we are.

Oh dear!

Buying a family sized bar of chocolate and eating the lot. Stomach ache afterwards but I never learn.

Me too I will be watching a series or a film on TV and I stay up too late and I know it but I do it anyway! I could eat better I try but living alone is a challenge I believe! Oh and yes I could dress better according to my dearly departed mother LOL. Personally I think my really positive traits outweigh the negatives!

Last night I had selection of the NHS's finest washed down with a restorative g&t 😁. The tablets were needed for my physical health, the g&t for my stress. Can't argue with that 😂

Goodness, there is someone humourless on here!
I have just eaten a bag of crisps and a bounty. Will doubtless have a glass of wine tonight, and have washed my tablets down with wine when out at dinner! Still here, alive and kicking. Did an hour's weights at the gym this morning, so still fit too.

Yet a lot of painkillers come pre-loaded with caffeine ( and they charge almost double for the priveledge!) I buy generic and slug with coffee when needed!

Chocolate can’t be too bad as cocoa and sugar are both plant foods.

Tesco still sells Babycham.

As a child I use to be given Babycham before I had my polio jabs. Amazingly, I did not grow up to be an alcoholic and my LFTs still come back as normal.

I love the idea that wine is one of your five a day. Cider must be as well. Oh and Babycham is made from pears isn't it? Cheers!

Greek wine and meds,well of course you can’t drink the water.🤣🤣

dont drink alcohol but I do take tablets with odd things whatever is to hand really can be squash, non dairy milk, fizzy drink if i am having that but then I pay for that have burps for hours and can feel the blessed tablets in my chest for hours and taste them bleeeuk.
funny when i get migraine I crave sweet tea do not mind tea normally but no sugar but if I have migraine and need to take painkillers I just have to have a sugary tea.

A plate of nachos with melted cheese, sour cream, salsa and guacamole on top. Pretty much devoured the lot. Oooops. They were supposed to be a sharer for two. Sod that for a game of soldiers! I’m on my hols!

Last Christmas we bought the offspring each a box of quality street in October because they were reduced. We ate both before December.
