Hello, All! Warm greetings from soop and me with the added good news that after all her immense patience soop is to be moved to the tiny Campbelltown hospital which is much near home than Oban. Keep all fingers and toes crossed that nothing messes this plan up!

Soopās cosy kitchen for kindly and caring folk
(1001 Posts)In *soopās absence Iāve opened the door, fluffed the cushions and replenished the buffer.
Blossoming you have more patience than me with that bracelet, how delicate.
Tough times SueD I hope today went well for Thursday.
Yesterdayās quiz was a record 54 in attendance, not bad for a village on a Monday, we caught up with quiz mates, but failed to get in the top three. Before that I went to see a physiotherapist and came away with a bunch of knee exercises, Iāve crepitus apparently!
Today was washing, managed to whip it in before some rain unexpectedly came down.
With š¹to soop and others struggling.
Again, thank you Baggs. Good news that Soop will at last be closer to home and her beloved husband.
Sending warmest wishes to the Soops and you too Baggs.

So pleased to hear that dear soop may be moving nearer home.
Everything seemed to happen so quickly with her but that may just be me.
Well Iām sorry to say that once more the wheels have wobbled and are danger of falling off again in my life after a few months of hope.
Too painful to even think about.
I shall read and try to keep up and respond occasionally and as always I send my kindest thoughts to you all.
Pleased to hear soop is moving closer to home. Thanks for the information Baggs.
Thank you for the update Baggs
Sending (((hugs))) and best wishes to our dear soop
Much better news of our dear Soop thanks Baggs.š
Thinking of you UTBB. š»
Life is a it up and down here.DH was called in on Tuesday for more blood tests, still no news,I think it will be after the repeat liver scan on the 15th.So we plod on and look forward to our holiday in a few weeks.
Sorry you had a fall Grannmarie and hope your better now.Iām a bit paranoid about falling now,I donāt want to break anything so trying to be extra careful.š¤£
Our youngest DGS started High school yesterday. He finds anything new very unsettling but, seems to be very happy so far.š¤
Thinking of you all.
My life is being turned upside down by a partner of a close relative who is controlling and possessive so taking over their life which in turn upsets out lives and those very close to us.
It is an estrangement situation which countless threads on GN prove has no solution and no happy ending.
Someone is always going to be the loser whether they deserve it or not and the person responsible just gets away with it because no one will upset other people especially when young children are involved.
I do pray none of you encounter this in your lives.
Thank you for the update on soop Baggs.
UTBB I am so sorry for this upset in your life. You do so much for family and deserve some peace. My thoughts are with youš
Thank you Baggs, that's much better news for our dear soop & her family. To be much nearer home will be a comfort for them all.
Us lot in the kitchen have had them very much in our thoughts these past weeks.
Warmest wishes for the lovely soops & all her kitcheners.! x
So sorry, Utbb, to hear your distress, upsets that you don't need or deserve. Thinking of you. x
There is much sadness in this friendly kitchen just now.
I'm sorry I don't mention names, I'm always afraid of missing someone out! x
uttb you are such a warm hearted lady with open arms and an open house too for your family. You are, as my late darling mum used to say ātheir safety netā.
Iām sad for you to have this never ending estrangement anguish to bear. It must indeed pull you low. Warmest hugs from me. x
cornergran Iāll miss you, come back soon! I also have bright blue walking sticks, but rarely use them as I prefer my very robust rollator. I was talking to a disabled neighbour last week who said sheād be too embarrassed to use a rollator so doesnāt go out!
I hope your DH uses his stick anyway. Iām still struggling with my new iPad after six months.
utbb Iām sorry that life is proving problematic again for you, but hope the situation will improve soon,
baggs thank you for the update on soop and hope sheāll soon be in the local hospital and able to see her DH more often.
yiayia Fingers crossed for a good result from this latest round of blood tests etc.
Lots more rain today and the ālawnā is finally showing a few green shoots. Iāve moved the hose from the back of the garden and left it near the back of the house, just in case itās needed again.
Have a peaceful evening everyone.
utbb sad to read your post, take care šø
Thank you very much Baggs much better for the soops.
Thatās just so unfair utbb youāre so kind and deserve a gentle, even road ahead, not these potholes appearing frequently x
Fingers crossed Yia Iām pleased you have your holiday to look forward to.
It finally stoped raining here a little while ago, hopefully we have two warmer sunny days ahead, washing will be done, at least two loads.
My car has been dropped for its MOT and a service, should get it tomorrow, hopefully before my shingles jab late afternoon.
Good evening Kitcheners. Baggs thank you for the update about Soop. I hope she is home to Campbelltown soon. UTBB* I'm sorry to hear about your stressful situation. I hope it can be resolved for you. You do so much for your family. Yiayia fingers crossed for a good result for your DH. Jaxjacky fingers crossed for your car passing it's mot.
Today I was at the chiropodist so my feet have been tender today. I've tidied up but that's all. Tonight will be quiet. Enjoy your evening Kitcheners
I just popped in to see if there was any news about soop so Iām delighted to read your update Baggs, thank you for letting us know.
Thank you for the update Baggs.
I hope your quiet time helps settle you, Cornergran.
Thatās just so miserable for you, UTBB.
Sometimes I feel that I want to bang peopleās heads together and say What on earth is the MATTER with you?? but weāre not allowed to do that kind of thing nowadays!
Marvellous news about Soop from Baggs. Thank you! I hope maybe Soop can get home once sheās been in Campbelltown for a while.
Iām sorry for missing out people, but I do think of you all.
My news today is good, in that we learnt that dhās recent treatment seems to have halted his disease for the time being. It wonāt last forever but weāll take whatever is on offer right now. No more hospital appts until Dec/Jan. Hurrah!
That is good news SueDonim
Good news has been sadly missing recently.
I hope the status quo is maintained.
I am in bed early, so tired and shattered from by my upset, however tomorrow is another day for all of us.
May it be a better one.l

Utbb, thinking of you. š
YiaYia, thank you, I'm fine, a bit achy but that's my default setting these days! Hoping and praying for good results for your DH, waiting is torture.
Ladyleftfieldlover, I'm sorry you're still in pain, I hope your injection helps very soon.
Welcome home brook!
Grandmabatty, I hope your feet feel better soon.
Cornergran, thinking of you and your DH. You've got a lot on your plate just now. Rest and recharge your batteries in the comfy quiet corner, say Hello š to all our dear friends sheltering there.
FGT, kind regards to you and Himself.
My sisters and I enjoyed 'Knit and natter' at DSis2's this afternoon. We are knitting for the new baby and his proud big sister. I haven't knitted since before my shoulder/ arm problem at Easter, so I've chosen a simple, familiar pattern to start with.
Wishing everyone a peaceful Thursday evening and a good night's sleep.
TOYA, NNGB.
Good news sueD. Fingers crossed the improvement lasts a long while.
Thinking of the fgts and others in need of kind thoughts.
Night night everyone.
Hi kitchen pals, itās a sunny day up here in Inverness but with a cool breeze
Iām just in from having coffee with a pal and my Fitsteps dance class at the- I got through the class ok but feeling pretty tired now, I think the recent travelling and busy sightseeing is taking its toll. Luckily Iāve nothing else to do for the rest of the day so can take it easy and recover.
Hope the knitting is going well grannmarie I think itās always so special to have something handmade for a new baby. When one of my DGSs was just born I knitted a small teddy bear, it was a long way off being perfect and itās embroidered face was a quite a bit wonky but itās still there in DD1s house and I see it each time I visit
Hoping things are improving a bit Uttb
Hope the car passed its Mot Jax and your shingles jab not too painful
Thinking especially of Soop, Blossoming and Fgt, apologies to those Iāve not mentioned by name, hope everyone is doing ok and take care all x
