Another photograph yesterday from Meghan to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
It is Harry with his daughter.
After seeing it and others published recently do you other Grans just wish you could get a decent brush and give her hair a really good brush?
Much is made of its glorious colour but oh dear it looks like rats tails to me.

They've excelled in bringing the family into disrepute that's true Iam, but they haven't done so by lying and putting very personal information about a member of that family into a book.

BlueBelle

Lovely father and daughter picture for Valentine’s Day it’s about love not just sexual love, that s just a bit of a money making modern stuff
Who the heck makes you all the ‘hair brush’ police can’t you just see a little girl with her loving Dad
Oh yes I forgot its Meghan the ‘most criticised’ of course let’s find something to have a go at her for
If it was a picture of William and daughter you d all be saying how wonderful

Agreed.

Valentine's Day is about love. Unconditional agape love.

These threads make me laugh!
There's a poster on this thread, who a couple of years ago was praising Andy Murray on GN for keeping his kids away from social media, saying that celebrities who do search publicity through their children should expect all sorts of opinions. Yet this same poster can't see that this is exactly what happens with Meghan's frequent Instagram posts!

Ironic, isn't it!

Graceless

I see using that name was a compliment to the late Queen.

I am not sure that was how the late ueen saw it at the time

Well, it wasn’t.

I seem to recall that when they announced the name, they said it was ‘Lilibet’, to be known as ‘Lili’.

Why bother with Lilibet then?

If they wanted to do away with their royal family connections, why use a unique nickname of the now late Queen?

And I too wonder why Valentine’s Day needed a father/daughter picture, why not H&M?

Coincidence that William and Catherine had their own photo published yesterday perhaps?

And yes, the child’s hair always looks a mess, but I’m not sure we ever see the actual Lilibet/Lili.

Re Lilibet known as Lili, maybe following in Lili's father's footsteps, Henry known as Harry.

Re Lilibet known as Lili, maybe following in Lili's father's footsteps, Henry known as Harry.

Lots of us are known by shortened versions of our names though.
I knew if my mother used my full name that I was in trouble!!

ANW and his ex wife have lied, he appears to have passed on info to Epstein when in the role of trade ambassador. She sold time with AMW, wrote grovelling emails to Epstein . He lied that he ended his friendship with Epstein . She emailed withdrawing a public statement naming Epstein a paedophile

The list is endless

Anniebach Sun 15-Feb-26 16:45:24

Yes Iam there are threads discussing the Yorks, why not more than one, thread on the royal family?

The list is indeed endless. When he was planning his interviews with EM and planning to lie not just to the nation but the world, he took B along with him and embroiled her in his lies - whether she knew or not who knows? Reminds me of Jonathan Aitken who lied in court when suing the Guardian and got his teenage daughter to lie for him. Lovely dads both of them .

Indeed - how can M and H be criticised without reference to other members? In terms of comparing behaviour, there is nothing that M or H have done that comes close to AMW, SF and those that knew and protected him especially.

Aveline Sun 15-Feb-26 17:15:57

I still think that calling this little girl what they did is an unforgivable insult to her late Majesty. Note I will not use that name.

Anniebach Sun 15-Feb-26 17:21:47

Should the poster who started this thread have included it with one of the York threads ?

I think lying on national TV and betraying state secrets is beyond unforgivable. Being friends with a paedophile who was into sex trafficking is also beyond unforgivable. I think a sense of proportion is needed.

Aveline Sun 15-Feb-26 17:25:04

Tuliptree two wrongs don't make a right. Two topics under discussion.
My sense of proportion is intact

It’s not her fault that is her name though, or indeed that she has the hair she has. I think she should not be judged as a result of anything her parents did. Imagine if everybody who met her refused to call her by her name, how hurtful that would be.

It’s not about two wrongs it’s about the huge chasm between the two issues qualitatively and quantitatively in terms of damage to the nation and the royal family - the name chosen or AMW? The idea that they are somehow equivalent is risible

Anniebach Sun 15-Feb-26 17:44:28

Seperate threads so no comparison

Looking again, has she just been to her ballet class? It looks like a leotard and skirt affair to me. Maybe she has just let her down from a perfect ballerina bun?

Yes she looks like she's been to a ballet class.

That's good to know. A short course of antibiotics can be helpful if in doubt.

I don’t think it was AMW who was being protected, rather it was Queen Elizabeth. She would have been kept informed, but the advisers would have wanted to prevent any more becoming public knowledge.

Anniebach Sun 15-Feb-26 18:18:41

2022 was the platinum jubilee for the late Queen, the only uk monarch to celebrate it

Silvershadow Sun 15-Feb-26 18:32:56

The Americans have released all the names on the Epstein files. The royals named are Andrew, Harry, Meghan. More yet to come out perhaps…..certainly in America more is known about Meghan than we are allowed to know over here.
