Believe me, it can happen.
A longtime member received a lifetime ban for causing a member to suffer mental health problems
The accuser was the ex member I mentioned who had had 6 user names.
Of course the mods were totally unaware of all these name changes so therefore were unaware of the goading from the accuser to the accused.

Sounds a total bell-end petra and anyone can claim ‘mental health’ on a forum.🤬it doesn’t give carte blanche to be totally foul so you need six different names.

Nobody apologised to me 😥 when I was suspended for being rude to a BOT.
Not even when the BOT was cast off to wherever BOTS are sent.
I’ll get over it though 😂

That's because you hurt the BOT's feelings and it complained to a moderator who sympathised with the BOT.

Perhaps the bot was able to influence the moderator 😉🤭

Some time ago I had a post deleted because someone had influenced a moderator who judged it to be "antisemitic."

I blame myself for failing to make sufficiently clear my point of view. However the moderator should not have been so high-handed and should have given me ----or anyone-----an opportunity to elucidate.

I'm intrigued as to how someone can influence a mod?
And why you felt the need to put antisemitic in inverted commas?

You're absolutely right in that perhaps you didn't make yourself sufficiently clear. Because generally, when people make discriminatory remarks and they are pulled up about them, "not making myself sufficiently clear" is a frequently used "explanation".

Always wise to err on the side of caution and check your wording when you're dealing with a subject that could so easily make you look like a racist or similar.

Inverted commas are used for quotations. I quoted the moderator.

It’s removed immediately.
That’s why I boringly repeat my self.
If you are friends with a member exchange email address's
It’s happened to 3 friends of mine on here. If we hadn’t exchanged emails there was no way of knowing.

I agree. However my contretemps with the mod was years ago so I could not retrieve it and the inverted commas , anecdote style, was the most I could do.
