We have two grandsons , one 20 and at university, doing what university students are doing, seeing friends and girl friend, and a 16 year old who is at school but living in a village where there is a degree of social interaction between people of their own age.

We live in the South which is not so bad as other areas, but covid is on the rise again.

After discussing it with daughter we decided to spend Christmas on our own☹️ but hopefully meet up Boxing Day for a walk with dogs and perhaps a flask and turkey sandwiches?

Now on the radio this morning they were suggesting that people will be ignoring the rules and spend time with their families.

What to do!!! Still inclined to be safe but worry worry

Darent mix even if we could- and doubtful as we in northwest (tier3 before lockdown)& my 2 sons still at home have neurological & respiratory problems & ive got medical stuff going on so we are keeping a low profile. But as i said on another post asking this, i was so very ill last xmas with what is now suspected as could have been covid19 (but it wasnt widely known of then) by our gp practice nurse, (then as i was recovering slightly my 2 lads got ill, but a bit less than i was) then anything's better than last year! It really did feel like i couldve died- i couldnt breathe & was in the A&E both xmas day & boxing day early hours(ambulance) and took 2wks to even start to get functioning.so im not risking anything this year!
