I wasn’t going to do any decs this year. Not feeling ‘Christmasy’ since DH died But, have today put up a couple of them. Not my usual over the top display- but trying to get into festive mood.
We're not "baubling" any more as we put our tree (with lights) out on the balcony and don't really have enough unbreakable baubles to bother with. The wind is so strong that it may well be carried away! (Before anybody panics, let me tell you that we have lights that can be used outdoors and a proper outdoor lighting circuit}.
I'm not but other half is in the workshop fiddling with broken Christmas lights and the cutlery basket from the dishwasher. Chores lined up all year are getting done now, probably to avoid having to go shopping...
Fixing lights is a thankless task, if they're more than a couple of years old I have to confess to binning them.
