Have you been asked this question? I never know what to say, but once - just once - I committed myself to: 'I'd love a bird table', I can't remember what I did receive, but it wasn't a bird table and I still don't have one. Whatever I did receive, I'm sure it was equally acceptable and no doubt I still have it in a drawer or a box or a cupboard...whatever it was! So, have you ever answered this question and received something you really wanted or something you never knew you wanted, but was gratefully and gracefully accepted?

Me too kittylester. Don’t have room for any more…. Well maybe just one?

To not have to worry about the cost of heating our home. It snowed on Monday night and it's really cold.

DD refers to toiletries and candles as presents from people who don't really know you (unless they're a fragrance you adore). Though a friend gave me shower gel for my birthday with the words 'This is my absolute favourite'.
DS asked me about a Christmas present as 'You're really difficult to buy for'. I directed him to a coffee table book I've had my eye on for years. I wonder if he's got it sorted!

Madmeg

Sadly the last wish on my post has failed again. Maybe 2025 will be better?

Oh Madmeg I'm sorry, so heart wrenching. My son and d-i-l went through this heartbreak, they were lucky their very last try resulted in a successful pregnancy. It's a brutal regime and I so hope your daughter gets the same luck. flowers

Oreo I think not. It’s a very old leather bag. I’ m a bit of a William Morris person., so as it is not your run of the mill sort of bag, a tapestry strap would not be aesthetically pleasing or correct .

My AC tend to buy us things like a cinema trip, days out and once, afternoon tea somewhere posh! All appreciated. I too am trying to get rid of stuff, not collect more!

A nice new husband, who actually took notice of me in the same way as he does when a young woman is talking to him, however unattractive she usually flipping well is!!!! 😲
