Ref condoms, my late DFiL was known for his thrift. During the war troops were issued with free condoms to prevent STDs. His lot were fairly innocent so he saved them (the condoms) all to bring back to his newly married wife. He was very proud of this economy and rather put out when I fell about laughing about army issue condoms.

When my son was one and seated in the supermarket trolley, we unknowingly ‘parked’ him alongside the shelf that had condoms for sale. My OH and myself were intently looking at and comparing other items nearby. We were finally compelled to look up and take notice because of all the muffled giggles we heard from passing customers. To my horror and embarrassment somehow my son had managed to grab a pack of condoms, open it and was gaily offering one to anybody that passed !! We hastily retrieved it but then also felt obliged to buy them even though we had no need to use them at that time !

Ocado don’t seem to do them?

I got mine at my local sex shop. One of my friends works there, he's just over 20 but looks more like 15. I wasn't embarrassed and neither was he. Some of his customers are when they think he really is 15.

I know you can get 'bullets' in vending machines in some establishments, because friends of mine thought it was funny one evening to get me one (a few yrs ago) and present it to me, in the pub! (Works well......) ?

The electric toothbrush reminds me of the time DH and I were returning from a holiday in Guernsey. Had checked in our luggage at the airport and were happily partaking of (alcoholic) refreshment, when there was a call over the tannoy. "Would Mr BlueSapphire please return to check-in?" Apparently there was a strange noise coming from his case - turned out to be his electric shaver which had somehow switched itself on!

But what if they have security tags on.....so even at self service checkout a member of staff would be needed!!
