It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page

I don't have (or need) a list. I'd much rather a gift was purchased for a child in need or a donation made to a food bank.

I am hoping for Jamie Oliver to come round on Christmas Day to prepare and cook the dinner (7 adults and 5 children), so I can enjoy family time instead on being stuck in the kitchen ! I can but dream !

No real Christmas list although I'd love some new pyjamas and a good book. I'd just like the festive season to pass peacefully and a better 2017 for everyone.

I would like Health, Happiness and good teeth for my family and for myself.

After that, a nice bottle of proper Chanel No 5 would go down very well here !

No wish list as lots of Big Birthdays next year. I appreciate all the parcels I'm given from chocolates to scarfs and socks. We're all big book readers and have tended to go back from the e-books to hardbacks. Wishing everyone good Health and happiness.

All I would like is for my sons depression to lift....sounds a bit sad, but its truly the only thing right now that I can think of that I really really want. I need me teeth sorting lol, the house is in disrepair, but its my boys mental health that I need back, because it breaks my heart every time he sobs in my arms, my grown up boy, and he has absolutely no reason for this despair other than he is constantly questioning his moods to the point where he thinks he is going crazy, and he's been on a waiting list to be seen for five months now...so please Santa, if you could send a heap of money to the NHS, then maybe they would find time to see my boy and help him! x Merry Christmas everyone, sorry if my post sounded depressing, you have to keep smiling! xxxxxxx

Top of my wishlist is to see more of my DGS, and for his parents to stop warring with each other.

I would like my husband to stop being Grumpy. He's driving me mad! I've probably got more of a chance of winning these books, or the national lottery then that happening though sad

I don't have a Christmas list as such but my DS who is 18 will be home from uni and my DD can't wait to see her brother. That will be the best gift ever.

My darling husband has been on a trial drug for his terminal lung cancer, given only 6 months he's still here coming up for 3 years. Our first Christmas was awful, the second I was holding my breath and expecting it would be his last, but this year with all my family coming for overseas to celebrate with us, I am joyous and filled with the Christmas spirit - and of course thank God for the past wonderful years and for anything we have in the precious future. So jingle all the way!.....sunshine

My great want is peacefulness and happiness for all my family.

I would also be eternally grateful for a cashmere sweater for myself but I don'the think that is going to happen!

My deepest wish for Christmas is for all my family and friends to have a very special time together, to appreciate who and what they have, to offer help or kindness to strangers, and the poor people in tragedies around the world.
