Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

I would love to wake up to snow on Christmas morning. I think that has only happened once in my life - late sixties maybe? We rarely get any snow where I live now. How I miss that lovely crunchy soft snow and the beautiful hush that descends on the world -when no cars go by, but people go out walking - and talking!

I'm with grannyactivist....just let the people I love emerge from their turmoil to find peace, calm and comfort in the spirit of a true Christmas.

My husband and I are in the process of splitting up (no other parties involved) so I hope we can still have a happy and peaceful Christmas for the sake of our son. Winning these books would mean so much to me to fill in the lonely nights to come.

Having retired this year, I am wishing for good health for all my family but especially for my husband and I so we can enjoy our retirement in the way we want to.

Family has had so many health problems over the last year, I would just love for us to have a healthy Christmas. I can see several books that would be perfect for many members of the family - would be a truly great Christmas.

I have everything I need - though of course books are always a welcome addition! What I really want is to see all my family at Christmas - including 3 new grandchildren in the past year - and just wish that everyone was as lucky as I am in having such a wonderful supportive and loving family.

Apart, of course, from world peace, I'd really really like the new Ladybird books for adults.

I would love to have a healthy Christmas for my family. My husband has dementia, my daughter has had cancer and is again in hospital because a minor procedure went wrong in our local hospital and was transferred forty miles away to a a county hospital. I could go on but in spite of everything we are a happy family but would love one day without problems. I would love to win this fabulous prize as I am practically addicted to the printed word and a wonderful distraction from everyday life.

Love to see all the family over Christmas and New Year. For bombings to cease in Syria or wherever so that families there have some respite. A glass or two of red wine and some good books smile

I have had a really bad year health wise, the worst for a long time, but a rainbow of happiness was the birth of our new little grandson. I don't need anything for Christmas, I've got everything I want - If I have to say something - That there will be no homeless people this christmas.

Nettie17 Thu 24-Nov-16 08:29:17

I would love to have a traditional Christmas dinner round the table with my family and have lots of laughter and a peaceful day

Rinouchka Thu 24-Nov-16 09:35:16

The wish that all the people I hold dear have good health, happiness, and the ability to love and be loved, and, in addition, for my GC, the chance to attain their full potential and to live in a world that cherishes young( and old)!

No objects, just wonderful human beings....and some fun adventures and discoveries.

Oh...and a massage, please!
