It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page

my brother is desperate to move house and has found a very nice house in an ideal location. The current owner wants to sell in the New Year but has yet to put in on the market. I wish that5 they can agree a price between them thereby saving both of themselves expense, time and perhaps disappointment.

Last Christmas I spent 10 days having a tumour removed from my spine, which meant I completely missed out on all the festivities. So this year what I really wanting for Christmas is the day with all trimmings!! The turkey, the children excited about there presents, the naff telly, the cheese and wine, the games!! That's my perfect present this year xx

My wish is not to put back all the weight I have lost over the past year by overindulging at Christmas! ;)

I am wishing that perhaps this year we shall be able to celebrate these Christmas festivities without illness leaving gaps at the table as last happened last year! Also praying for a peaceful Christmas world wide without any incidents/disasters.

To know that my flight tickets to be in England for 19th. December have not been cancelled. The times have already been changed but we haven't yet had an email to say they have cancelled the flight. The same company did this to us once before and we had to hurriedly search to find another flight, before all of the two hundred or so people who had received the same email had bought up all of the tickets on their flights. Roll on, the nineteenth!
