We are going away for Xmas so have decided not to get each other anything this year.

Would love for this christmas to be just restful and quiet - not backwards and forwards to the hospital like last year

I haven't had a christmas list for years, just love getting the family together and love seeing my grandchildren enjoy themselves.

If I had to wish for anything it would be more time with my husband to travel more than we do.

I absolutely love books, but most of all I want all my family to be well and happy.

After some family fun, on my wish list would be quality me time to read all these fab books up for grabs.

I want a houseful of happy, healthy and contented family and friends to enjoy the festive season x

Apart from the usual health, wealth & happiness for everyone, I think I'd like a sewing table and a new duvet!

I would like a new dictionary.

I'd like a huge TV for Christmas but since that's not going to happen I'll settle for a new pair of glasses!

My husband has been asking what I want for Christmas and I'm really boring, haven't a clue!

Loving reading, I would opt for a book token as I love wandering round Waterstones and choosing something new to read. A magical place!

Also, I would love to hear some uplifting Christmas carols on TV. Where have they all gone?

I would love my children to find happiness in their chosen careers

I've already got my wish.... a gorgeous new baby grandaughter!

To have more energy is the number one thing on my Christmas wish list!

I'd really like a house elf to give me a hand but failing that a good old fashioned family sing a long will hit the spot this year!

It's been a bit of a sh!tty year so it'd be nice to sing it out loud and proud and hope for a better year to come for everyone!

Just hope that Christmas might bring the end to hostilities in Syria so that the children there will once more be able to smile and laugh again!

On my christmas list is an emamel starter kit.....I had one as a child and loved it!

My wish list is a cruise to see the northern lights

I would love a bouquet of flowers from Bloom and Wild. If you haven't tried them, you should! Beautiful and long lasting.

A kindle, to have more room for reading as there is no room for too many more books

I'd just like a peaceful family Christmas with everyone healthy enough to enjoy it. Next year will be very different, but we will deal with that as it happens and just enjoy this time together.

A lovely, snowy white Christmas Day would be perfect.

I'd like one of those grip things for opening tight jars although I now have the option of my son doing it for me when his dad's not around

A good book (or several) would always be top of my list. However my wish would be to have a happy day enjoying our first grandchilds first Christmas.
