I would take our Grandchildren to the Tank Museum at Bovington in Dorset uk. They say their Dad never stops talking about his visits there as a child.

Camping on Dartmoor. They live in rural California and if they go camping they have to worry about bears and rattlesnakes!

I'd like to take them to the seaside in Wales in the summer and enjoy all the things I enjoyed as a child (and still do)...rowing around in dingys, peering into rockpools with fishing nets and buckets and building a huge sandcastle!

Ooh decisions, decisions. I think I’d take them to London and show them some of our wonderful heritage as they have never been. I remember going as a child and still have strang memories of Buckingham Palace, the Whispering Gallery in St Paul’s and feeding the sparrows from my hand in the park.

Red Wharf Bay in Anglesey...we had hours of fun here as children. It’s a fabulous place.

I would take my grandchildren to Kenya where my daughter worked as a teacher, to show then how poorer people live,No flushing toilets or running water, nothing is easy to purchase, cooking your own food from their own harvest.
To walk the 2 hour journey every morning to school & back home again why carrying pitchers of water.
Would also teach not to things for granted.
Also seeing the wildlife live freely walk amazing mountains & deserts

I would love to take my grandchildren to Orlando Florida. Their mum is on her own with 3 little ones and does an amazing job. It would be great to treat her and the children.smile
