I recycle food waste plastic and paper for bin collections. I do not own a car so walk or use public transport. I take my own bags to use while shopping. Every bit helps.

I rip up cardboard to make sure I can fit more recycling in each bag!

We've been trying to minimise buying things with excessive packaging like using shampoo bars and wax wraps, if we can't it has to be recyclable and also stopping food wastage, we're more warey about waste. We buy used clothes rather than new when we can as it uses alot of resources when making new clothes

I was an ecco warrior before it became fashionable! Vegetarian from a young child and converted my husband to only having red meat once a week. I recycle everything, and have never changed anything just to update or follow fashion. Even the pet's drinking water that is refreshed daily is used to water my plants and not wasted. We are thrifty with our fuel and pop a woolly on in preference to central heating. Double cook and use the freezer, and my cleaning products are all natural such as lemons. No tumble dryer for me as I prefer the natural blowing in the wind laundry after a cool wash. My steps are becoming a game of constantly considering what else I can do!

i am always aware of my carbon footprint and never use the car to just pop the shops and consider anything up to a 45 minute walk away reasonable and doable.

I recycle everything I can. I also try and buy fruit and veg loose to save excess packaging. We also try to walk to places instead of using out car

I buy recycled products as much as possible but I’m still not convinced about recycled toilet paper.....I mean you just don’t know who’s used it first.

I recycle as much as I can and have very low energy light bulbs throughout the house. I also refill water bottles rather than buying new ones constantly.

Recycle all food waste & all used clothing to recycling places. Use buses instead of using the car.

I've been changing all my light bulbs to energy saving ones and got a composter.

We have an allotment which keeps us in two thirds of our vegetables during the year. We grow organically and can also share food with family and friends. In this way we are reducing the need for food to be transported over long distances and use no plastic in the wrapping of our food.

i am doing what i am supposed to be doing ad hopefully so will everyone else, by being sensible, social distancing and wearing masks

We walk instead of taking the car to the shops, use dish water to water garden and recycle

I always do recycle everything I can. I have recently found reusable washable covers in Lakeland. These are fantastic and cut down on cling film.

I’m making a real effort since lockdown not to submit to fast fashion. I used to spend a lot on cheap clothing just beach I wanted it. Lockdown has taught me I don’t need this to make me happy and to value to need over want attitude. In turn this is also helping the environment as I’m not throwing old clothes out to replace with new.

We've gone down from a 2 car diesel family to a one car hybrid.

I've always been environmentally aware, been vegetarian for years, a big fan of make do and mend, and a charity shop shopper, etc. In recent years I've ramped it up, going beyond low energy bulbs and house insulation to getting rid of gas in the house entirely and switching to a green energy efficient electric system. We also don't drive where we can walk and our next car will be a hybrid. That said, there's still little things I am discovering, like beeswax wraps for food.

I always recycle what's recyclable. Teaching kids about healthy environment because they are our future - they already know that eating less meat and bester for environment and choosing locally grown veg is not only healthy but also this way supporting local businesses.

I use my bicycle as often as i can on shorter journeys instead of the car.

We use reusable shopping bags, try to buy products with minimal package or those from local producers where we know the origins of it. We recycle as much as we can in the household, donate old items of clothing to charity shops, we also wash laundry on a lower setting, turn household appliances off when not using them and use our composter.

We've changed all our lightbulbs for energy saving ones.
