pinkquartz I am puzzled, I have done just what I always said I would do, get my life sorted before the end of the week and then hunker down within the deadline set by the government - and that was exactly what I have done.
My hair was cut 10 days ago but I had a beauticians appointment for next week, I called in to cancel it in the faint hope that if she had a space she could do my eye brows there and then and I proved lucky, so they were done.
But the date that always defined when we would retreat into our shell was Friday morning because my car was booked into a main dealer quite some distance from home for a safety related recall. This date had been difficult to arrange and the date and time was agreed a month ago, so I was not going to cancel it.
Anyway, having done everything I intended, with seeds, potting compost, DIY materials, and on Friday morning, curtain fabric stacked up in the hall, We took the car to the garage, stooged around for a couple of hours while the safety repair was done and then had a last meal out at an almost empty pub, went home and put up the shutters.
This was exactly what I always planned to do, why you thought otherwise I am not sure. I had printed out the Guidance issued by Public Health England and I followed it precisely. I have always obeyed all the instructions we have been given. What I haven't done is over react as so many others have.
