All I want to know is can I visit my family I am 60 no health issues. Do we have to stay at home till June I’m confused.

All work will be potentially unsafe until we have all received a vaccine......but we can’t stay wrapped in cotton wool for a year or more, the economy and country generally would fall apart.
All that can be done is as much social distancing as is humanly possible, or in some cases wear a mask.

I think most on here understand 'being sensible' but unfortunately there are many who don't. The bank holiday weekend proved that with parties and picnics. Social distancing not even being thought of.
The old saying of 'give them an inch and they'll take a mile' springs to mind.

You are right Lemongrove I have decided to do just that I just didn’t want him to be confused by not being able to go near him but I think staying away completely isn’t great. To think this could go on for weeks or even months is very hard I have to see him.

I think we have to stay in to see the end to this pandemic.

It should be obvious that any relaxation in the current restrictions will cause a rise in the rate of infection (r).

So it is utter madness to start to open up all areas of England without any reference to the local infection rates.

From memory Washerwoman, Jacinda Ardern talked about a social bubble for childcare and to combat loneliness. Scotland and Belgium were considering whether or not it was safe for their respective countries to follow this example.
