From the sniping about whether other people’s purchases were ‘essential’ and who should be in the park, through to reporting neighbours for apparent guidance violations, Covid has altered my opinion of the British public, and not for the better.

Unless you're following her into the toilet and watching what she does, how can you possibly know what she does? Unless, as a previous poster suggested, you're raking through the bins to count the discarded anti bacterial wipes? If I was in your position, I'd just make doubly sure that I was wiping down surfaces, washing my hands thoroughly and following all reasonable precautions. As for reporting her to the CEO..... don't.

antibac wipes are fine, as is diluted washing-up liquid.
we've been through all this.
but if she is not washing hands after using loo, that suggests very lax/non-existent normal hygiene practices. that is not acceptable, esp in these times.
is there no one between you and the CEO. who is her line manager. is the wash-hand basin outside the WC closet, so that you can be sure she is not washing hands. it needs to be addressed. organisation has a duty of care to other employees/ users of space.

I agree with Grandmabatty how do you know if your colleague wipes down or not ? I would be taking my own precautions and not fretting about what others do or don't do.

I would ask for a general reminder to be sent out to everybody.

However, I never rely on somebody else doing what they should be doing. I would be wiping anything I needed to touch in a communal loo before I touched it anyway.

It might be helpful to have a sanitiser bottle in full view of the general area where you are all based - then whoever comes out of the loo can get reminded in a friendly kind of way if they walk past without using it.

I would speak to her line manager and ask that a note be sent to everyone reminding of the protocol. However if you are wiping as you go in that should be OK as far as it goes. The virus is most likely spread person to person via droplets.

Maybe they didn't take in the information when they started, did they have any induction training? If they have both recently started there could be some sort of review to check their understanding of procedures in general. Might just need pointing out, once that's been done they have no excuse not to follow procedures and CEO might need to be involved.

Just wipe down all the surfaces when you go in. You don't know for a fact unless you're monitoring the bins for used wipes after she's been to the loo which is both petty and stalkery! I get the feeling you don't like her much anyway so you might be looking for ways that she offends.

You say it appears everyone else is adhering to the code of practice therefore I do not think it is unreasonable for you to expect her to do so. It would make me wonder how much she conforms to the other practices that are expected of us outside of the workplace regarding social distancing, mask wearing and hand washing if she is like this at work. If she is careless it may make her more of a health risk to you all. Is there a superior that could speak to her rather than going directly to the CEO? If not you may have no choice as her lack of conformity may breed discontent & unease within the workplace.

No don’t raise it with the CEO, it’s a bit petty.
Send a reminder to every member of staff.
Or just ask her if she is remembering to do it.
