I am just interested in what your symptoms were as following a 2 week 'cold' (all LFT negative)I now have awful lower back pain and absolute brain fog

On 29th December I woke up and had a temperature. In the evening I felt quite breathless and had a cough. Oxygen readings down. Felt totally lethargic and brain fog. Had consistent positive LF. Negative PCR. Last sunday had a bad headache . Have had positive LF since. Gradually have felt better to extent able to WFH. I've had both jabs and booster beginning of November. I'm assuming Covid due to symptoms and positive LFS. My PCR test was supposed to be collected at 1.00pm last Saturday ( I dont drive). They turned up at 11am so had to wait for me to do it. I had results back in less than 24 hrs which quite surprising as previously around 48. !
As I say I'm assuming Covid,I didnt feel as bad as some but definitely not well. I have isolated ,fortunately I am in a position to be able to do that. My employer was very supportive and told me not to work if felt too I'll but also supportive in that could WFH rather than risk bringing Covid into office.

My DD, SIL and DIL, all triple vaccinated had Covid, before Christmas.
Symptoms of a heavy cold, hacking cough and fatigue, but are starting to improve.

An update to my previous post from a week ago.

I’ve been really unwell since with a cough, headaches and chills. I’ve been generally achy, extremely fatigued and I realised mid week that I have no sense of smell. I would liken it to flu. I’ve also had a couple of days when my chest felt very constricted which was disconcerting.

Oh and several epic sneezing fits and a nose that ran like a tap for a few days.
