The choir I'm in is currently doing Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers. I think it's a beautiful song about ordinary, everyday love - not soppy hearts and flowers romanticism.
Too many to mention! At the moment I need something lively so it’s Jackie Wilson ‘Higher snd Higher’. For sheer romance, I have always played ‘Almost there’ by the great Andy Williams. I remember the original accompanying film clip on TOTP when I was a little girl and have loved it ever since!
Oh ! "She" reminds me of one of my first boyfriends who used to sing it to me (it was number one at the time) Laughter in the Rain by Neil Sedaka (same boyfriend) Air that I Breathe by The Hollies Play Me by Neil Diamond I Lay my love on you by Westlife Right here waiting for you by Richard Marx
I've Been Loved By The Best by Don Williams. Because it's true - my late husband was the best man I've ever met and nobody could ever live up to him as far as I'm concerned. It's a beautiful song.
