I usually go to the gym at least twice a week but as we have been away and are going away next month again I've not been.
My gym subscription is due and didn't want to pay for the months not used.
In addition I am in a walking group, could walk 7 times a week if I wanted but the weather as been so bad, rain and snow that I have only been walking a few times since December.

I've been busy though going through the house cleaning out the drawers and cupboards and throwing things out so not sat on my backside.

I went walking yesterday with the group and felt so unfit when walking up a steep hill and seriously need to get myself motivated again.
Thing is once I get out of my routine it takes me ages to get motivated again.
I'm sat at the moment in bed using the computer.!! I feel so guilty.

Oh! My mouth is watering so much! Thank you for that article - very interesting! and a recipe! (Not sure whether to thank you for that or not - sodding diet hmmgrin) I seem to have put on 3 lbs in four days. That can't be right can it. confused

Thanks Kate. grin

Tegan Good girl, now you can have one of jinglebells cakes. grin

jing You have to do some stretches now, to get those cakes burnt up, come on, hit the deck, on your back and bend up to your toes, one and back, now relax. grin

I can't say anything. It took me hours tonight to get three strips of wallpaper on my son's wall with his help too! And then I promptly fell asleep on the settee. Tomorrow I will have to rest as well. Now, butterflies and flowers to do on my wall now. Well, when the next bout of energy comes my way. It's like a bus, you have to hop on it when it comes past.

I wonder if the flu injection being less effective has had any effect on people feeling more lethargic?

Katek Wed 25-Feb-15 10:05:47

Interesting point re flu vaccine Ruby - there are just so many people complaining about ill health and lethargy this year.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 25-Feb-15 10:12:14

Respect for doing that decorating Rubylady. I'm blowed if I could tackle wallpaper! grin

There was a time I did exercises every morning. Why did I stop? confused Perhaps I will start again.

Katek Wed 25-Feb-15 10:52:28

Off for lunch today with friend.....will exercise later.........maybe.......

Tegan Wed 25-Feb-15 12:06:50

What I don't understand is that, when the weather is horrible outside it still stops me wanting to do anything inside confused.

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 25-Feb-15 12:30:05

Oh, that's because of serotonin. When you see sunshine through the window, you make more of it in your brain. The sun was shining an hour ago and I was all set to go out. It's gone in now..... hmm

Tegan Wed 25-Feb-15 12:33:09

Will try eating a banana......

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 25-Feb-15 13:27:49

That'll do it. grin

rubylady Thu 26-Feb-15 01:22:50

Thanks jing but there wasn't even a pattern on the wallpaper so should have took a lot less time, it was the breathlessness that was the problem.

Maybe some stretching exercises might help with it?

If I paint the sun on my windows will that help too? grin
