I think if you now know you can start confidently then one day won't hurt and if you eat well in your 8 hours then something light to get you through but it is your birthday so don't torture yourself, just get back to it the next day and HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow and what a sweet husband

and thank you for introducing us to this diet/way of life. We've had good results from the 5:2, but like any diet, the effect wears off as the weight comes off, and there is still some to go for me, although not for DH
. I think I'll give the 16:8 a go for the difficult last pounds I want to shift.
