Are you a secret Mounjaro user?

I had not heard of Mounjaro until yesterday when a spate of posts advertising it appeared on GN. What is it exactly and why the secrecy about taking it?

Because people want to make out they are loosing weight on their own, without the use of any medical intervention. People can be quite judgmental. If I could get my hands on some, I’d gladly tell all.

I've only told my husband and my daughter. Told my brother (who is on the carnivore diet) he gave me a lecture about the dangers having watched something on TV. My reply was "Indeed " as I've been thinking about it for months, have read lots, including the possible side effects.

I'm 5ft 2in my bmi is 31.
10 years ago I lost 2.5 stone with slimming world in 9 months. But then I was working in childcare, very physical active, no health issues, wasn't on HRT.

SO, tomorrow is the day. Fingers crossed.

Unless I had diabetes I would not use the drug. It never ceases to amaze me the chances people take with unnecessary drugs and operations. It's their choice but if you must use it go through your Doctor,

Agreed. This is really quite dangerous, no long term research. Its their choice, but we all pick up the bill in the end.

I’m a Mounjaro user Oldcodger, but not secretly, I’ve told everyone!
It’s working well, I’ve lost 1st 5lbs,feel much better already, still got 3 or 4 stone to go. It works out to about 1lb a week, sounds small, but it’s 1lb more than nothing!!
My cardiologist prescribed it for me, and said it has positive benefits to heart patients.

Huge difference is this is under medical supervision. Each person is different, so questions and answers have to be very specific to each person's case, health issues, and other medication.
