If you're thanking me for making you laugh VioletSky you're welcome (phew got it right that time). I find you rather amusing too.

As I posted yesterday Nightsky the ability to understand wasn't an issue for me either but it's good to know it wasn't an issue for you as well.

Yes I will Summerlove. This is most enjoyable isn't it with shared laughter and understanding.

'In Arthur's Labingo-Hughes' -- surely if it was a real petition it would get such important names right??

I'm not sure about signing that petition, @Minty, but you can go through a solicitor, maybe even those at Citizen'sAdvice, to get yourself 'Grandparents Rights'!!

Grand parents don't have rights Ali.

That's really terrible to make a mistake like that.

Those poor children's names do not belong on this petition at all and their memory should not be used in such a way.

I have read these comments and see there are people for and against.
What y it s important us the right of the child to relationships which nurture and help them grow. There are many studies evidencing the positive impact of the wider community, including grandparents, on the developments if children. Alienation of a child is coercive control and that is abusive.
Children should not have to choose-the adults should be civil. As for safeguarding concerns, children are encouraged to remain with their parents even when there are child protection concerns, always trying to work with them for the benefit of the child.
