What's for dinner today?

I made corned beef hash with a mix of root veg with peas onion and mushroom gravy.

4 grilled fish fingers, sweet potato fries and garden peas. Basic but nice.

Something easy needed so
Chicken cacciatore with beans and rice

A simple fresh vegetable soup and a cheese board with fresh seasonal fruit.

Friday - the 1st of September.

Slightly smoked salmon, backed potato and green beans from the garden.

Sea Bass, Brown Rice, green beans

Baked haddock, tomatoes, peas, chips. Glass of rose wine.
Red fruits with Greek style low fat yogurt for dessert

Chicken, sweet potato and lentil curry, brown rice, poppadoms and mango chutney

Sea bass, new potatoes and courgette with lemon and parsley sauce and a glass or two of Sauvignon Blanc.

Baked Camembert, herby potatoes and beetroot. Yummy!

So many nice meals here! Lots of green beans, love them.

Thursday I had spag bolonese that I had made the night before. It always tastes better on the second day.

Haven't planned tonight yet. I'm kind of a fly by the seat of my pants kind of person. It might be eggs and chips.

I do like egg and chips!!
Proper chips, of course.

Tonight we had Lincolnshire sausages and a vegetable fricasee. I boil sliced potatoes, carrot batons, cauliflower and broccoli in a veg stock. Drain and put in dish. make a cheese sauce and pour over. Sprinkle with peanuts and sprinkle with grated cheese and cook for about 25 mins.

A sort of chowder, with onion, smoked haddock, potatoes, sweetcorn, lots of parsley, and the milk the haddock was poached in.

We ate out tonight at a pub that has the largest selection of pies I’ve ever seen. They were absolutely delicious and accompanied by a perfectly cooked assortment of vegetables and a choice of potatoes.

Lamb chops and mushrooms in gravy, mashed potato, green beans and carrots mint sauce. Rice pudding.

Ceviche for lunch in a new Peruvian Restaurant.

Quite lovely.

Indian takeaway it's not something we have often it's just a change with Cava in the sun house.

Simple and quick today. Pizza @ Francesco´s ..

Chicken breast with mashed potatoes, runner beans and cabbage.

Red lentil soup, rice, green salad, bread, fruit. One of my favourites.

Making a beef stir fry for me DH does not eat a lot of beef. I have made him tuna and veg fishcakes.

Duck breast, new potatoes and mixed salad for dinner tonight.
Fruit to follow.
