I hope I am committing a sin by starting a new thread but the other one is full and I enjoy it and the photos smile

I popped to the cheap farm shop on the way home from work to buy dog food and vegetables so I have made a sausage casserole with jacket potatoes. I normally put the potatoes in the casserole (I know wink ) but there was no room as I bought a rather nice leek grin it smells delicious smile

Last night we had salmon, creamed leeks and potato bake -very tasty.

Tonight I am planning a goats cheese and onion tart with a green salad.

We had a recipe from Rick Stein's new book - tartiflette. It was lovely.

Tonight - smoked salmon risotto.

Tonight's treat is Prawn and Salmon Crumble with Broccoli, Carrots and Courgettes. It's a delicious and regular favourite 😊 Oh and followed by some rather nice chocolate mousse left over from entertainment a friend yesterday!

Not sure yet. Staying with my sister in Devon and going to the pub for dinner - the food there is incredibly good. 😋

My daughter was batch cooking. She brought me a slice of chicken pie and a slice of lasagne.

Last night was sea bass with new potatoes, broccoli, courgettes and a lemon sauce.

Tonight I hope DH will make sausage and mash with onion gravy and probably peas.

That’s exactly what I’m cooking tonight Callistemon (bangers and mash with lots of fried onions). Snap! Comfort food on a miserable wet day.

Today we have had a bacon roll with fried tomatoes. For dessert I made a plum crumble and custard.
Didn't want to have a lot of prep as we had our covid booster this morning.

Well, I took sausages out of the freezer as a hint, and 🤞

I’ve got a bolognese sauce simmering in the slow cooker to have with spaghetti tonight. I’ve made it using turkey mince rather than beef mince.

Since I had most of a tin of sweetcorn to use up, a sort of fish chowder, with onion, bacon, smoked haddock potatoes, sweetcorn, lots of parsley, simmered in milk and water.

Jacket potato, quiche and baked beans. Nice quick tea.

Smoked Basa fillets with noodles and stir fried veg. It was delicious.

A beef stew with a side dish of cabbage. It was tasty and warming.

My version of a Chinese menu I do a fancy spread every couple of months with food style from a different country. Todays is hot and sour soup barbecue ribs duck pancakes prawns with cashews and stir fried noodles.

Out to an Italian tonight to celebrate DGD's 16th birthday, so it's pizza or pasta!

Witzend Fri 10-Nov-23 08:54:39

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, a medley of whatever veg I’ve got, and plenty of proper gravy.

Madgran77 Fri 10-Nov-23 16:03:16

Vegetarian spinach and cheese sausages; Rice; Ratatouille

Frenchgalinspain Fri 10-Nov-23 16:05:52

Shopping day ..

Stopped for a pizza ..

Mollygo Fri 10-Nov-23 17:21:05

Roast chicken, jacket spuds with cauliflower and broccoli. I like to buy both and mix them, as DH prefers broccoli but will eat a mixture. I’ve made a few stuffing balls too.

Just fancied eggs tonight so having chipolatas, oven chips and fried eggs and peas.

Been out all afternoon and got cold and wet so that should hit the spot.

Was supposed to have stuffed peppers but had a chicken korma with curried vegetables instead.
