Thank you all very much for your kind thoughts. I have been at home for a couple of hours but unable to use my computer because I could not read very much but my eyes are slowly improving. It takes 5-6 hours for the effects from the drops to go.

I have had my left eye injected and please believe me I am given so many anaesthetic drops I feel zilch. I return in 4 weeks for a repeat performance.

I do hope all of you girls have been good but I did wonder!

Bathsheba and Crafty a pair of clever clogs- you both did very well. So many of you managed to work out the maths puzzle that some of Miss MaryDoll's teaching has penetrated.

I do feel we really must concentrate on spelling and then grammar. Most of you want to go to university so it will be a hard graft to get you there. You will need more subjects than maths to get a place.
