Only then will I head off home
And sort out my wet hair with a comb
I'll try a new style
With which I'll beguile
Everyone wherever I roam

I'll charm everybody I meet

The world just seems to have gone mad
With people hurt which makes me sad
I turn off the box

With people hurt which makes me sad
I turn off the box
So I don't throw rocks
But sometimes I wish that I had.

Will humanity ever be sane?

Is it too much to hope?
Is the answer nope?
I pray for a newborn domain.

Will it ever be right?

Oh why did we make it a mess

I do have my doubts, I confess.

I do stick my head in the sand

I do stick my head in the sand
And only read stuff that is bland
Don't like anything grim

And only read stuff that is bland
Don't like anything grim
I keep my view dim

I do stick my head in the sand
And only read stuff that is bland
Don’t like anything dim
I keep my view dim
So view all about me as grand.

My brother keeps such a long face

My brother keeps such a long face
He's despaired of the human race
How to cheer him up?

My brother keeps such a long face
He's despaired of the whole human race
How to cheer him up?
Maybe buy him a pup!

How to cheer him up?
Maybe buy him a pup!
But he has little room in his place.

And I hate to clean, I confess
Kittens are cleaner
But can be meaner

And I hate to clean, I confess
Kittens are cleaner
But can be meaner
From thoughts of a pup I digress.

Tomorrow I’ll walk on the beach
The pier I'm hoping to reach
If I let go your hand
I'll fall in the sand

Tomorrow I’ll walk on the beach
The pier I'm hoping to reach
If I let go your hand
I'll fall in the sand
So I will cling on like a leech

Sounds of waves and smell of sea-air
