Anyone managed to get the grass cut yet? Mine so needs cutting but the ground is just so boggy I know I need to leave it alone for a while yet.

Bellanonna I sat outside yesterday for the first time this year, to eat my lunch and read a book and was too hot in a Tshirt! My thermometer read 19 degrees in the shade.

What a beautiful garden shysal, did you design it yourself? Well impressed!

No, Alima. When I moved in there were the bare steps and the 3 bushes bordering them. The garden has gradually evolved over the 16 years since, and includes a cartwheel-shaped veg and herb patch at the more level top. That piece of land was included in the plot courtesy of the farmer, but I am not allowed to erect a shed or greenhouse up there, hence the eyesore right outside the back door.
I am not creative, and wouldn't have had a clue how to design from scratch.
This is a slightly more colourful photo.

It looks so peaceful.
