I rarely water my lawn but someone mentioned the other day that you should water lawns once a week to help with weed control.

I never water it and am trying to encourage some 'weeds' for the bees in an area of lawn, as are my neighbours.

we water ours but then where we live water is never in short supply .

We don’t water our lawn; our water is metered. The grass recovers eventually even after it has been quite crispy. I don’t mind a few dandelions growing through here and there. Bees like them and so do my grandson’s Guinea pigs!

Certainly not.

I live in Scotland. I need say no more.

I thought ours would turn into a frozen lake the other evening (Storm Miguel)!

We have never watered our lawn, not even last year when it was brown and parched. It's lush and green this year. Nuff said, surely.

Never.

What? After all the rain we had yesterday? I don't even water mine during the hot weather. Water is precious and I am sure the lawn will survive - if not then tough!
