My first proper one was in a school corridor with a boy called Tim who had long hair and was thought to be cool.

Not sure he was, really.

My first kiss was when I was at Guide camp on the shores of Lake Windermere. I was 12, nearly 13, and there were 6 of us in our patrol bell tent. Across the lake was moored a houseboat with sea scouts camping on her. We practised our semaphore sending messages to and fro and one night, long after lights out, a group of them rowed across to the shore of our camp. We sat round in a circle on fallen trees and the lovely floppy-haired one sat next to me,his arm went round me very tentatively and oh joy! My first kiss! I've never forgotten sweet, gentle Mike from Kendal in that long ago summer of 1956.

I can cause my skirt fell down round my ankles! my mum used to make these hipster skirts, they were about 18inches long and sat around the widestpart of me so one clinch and down it went - was my face red!

It still makes me cringe when I think about it, all these years later!

I was 15, he was my first boyfriend and we'd been to the pictures to see 'Genevieve', I think it was. We got the bus back from Manchester, he walked me to the end of our cul-de-sac and...lunged confused. His lips missed mine and ended up on my neck (it was dark!) so he had to pretend he meant to do that and it ended up like a snail-trail down to my collar bone and he took his leave! blushblush

I was 13 and he was from the youth club. He walked me home and kissed me and I was in heaven. Didn't last long as my mum was not happy as he was 18!
At the time I didn't understand why she thought he was too old for me blush

My first kiss was with a girl called Margaret. She was 6 months older than me!
We were cuddled up on the settee beneath a cardboard box. It was around 1937-38. She was evacuated during the war and left me her roller skates.
We were 6-7 yrs old.
She came back in 1944, we were all friends together.
