Her name is Emily and Grannylin will be hot-footing up to see her at the weekend. Unfortunately she couldn't share the news herself as the high winds have wiped out her broadband. and congratulations for new grannies.

There's such excitement in our family. Baby Declan (hereto referred to as Ant and Dec - don't ask!) has made us all go really silly and sentimental.

We are still waiting! - she's now 2 days overdue, but with our family history there could be a long time to go yet! I'm meeting her for lunch tomorrow after her midwife appointment so we'll see how things are going.

Sorry ylil for your loss - my DD had several miscarriages and is now the mother of two fine boys, so don't despair - we never thought it would happen for her, but it did in the end. I know it is a difficult time.

I was very proud of her being truly joyful when her dear sister had her babies in spite of her own losses, so I do hope that the good news from other gnetters will give you heart.
