Birthday for a teen

My eldest gd is turning 7. She wants me to take her, with her friends, to Wicked. I feel she is way too young. Would you take young children to Wicked?

Then why didn't you say no right off Norah?

Demands are unacceptable in any area .

Suggest something you think more suitable.

I was curious if I missed something. I think 7 is too young, I dislike demands, I'll just not.

Thanks.

Norah half term has nothing to do with birthdays

Just a lot to do with purchasing problem threads wink

And why 'Birthday for a teen'? (I ask again, but doubt whether I'll get a reasonable answer)

A GS (teen) is having a birthday soon too, I put that in my 2nd post, I forgot it in my first. I prefer to cause no rivalry or bitter feelings, that's all.

To be honest I wasn't very impressed with Wicked and I would have thought a lot of 7 year olds would find it pretty boring.

Is your grandson having a new onesie by any chance?

Norah Mon 20-Feb-17 21:49:15

Why would GS want a onesie?

Norah I'd rather they asked me for what they want than me buy something they dont like.otherwise its a waste of my time and money .So GS who will be 14 in April wants cash to buy extras for the camera he's getting from mum and stepdad ,we might pay for a cinema and McDonalds trip too for him and his friends ,but only if he wants it

Your GD may be turning 7 but some of her friends may still be 6.

Too young for something like that imo. Ours enjoyed an amateur production of the proper Wizard of Oz though.
