Please, please, please pray for my precious 4 year old grandson, who has a lump on his neck and will soon be going for an operation/ biopsy on the lump. Whichever God you pray to, please remember to mention my little boy. I am in total anguish, not just for my grandson but for his parents, my son and daughterinlaw. It must be so hard for them. He is an active little boy and we are hoping there's nothing nasty going on. But even the thought of him having an operation scares me. When he went to see the Consultant, he was so scared, crying and didn't want to go. I know he is in good hands, and the Nurses will be specially trained to deal with their little patients. But I can't get him out of my head ...I am beside myself with worry. Thanks for listening xx

Just a peep from me to see if there’s any news yet CrazyH.
Fingers crossed that you all get some good news very soon.

Still praying daily, in church, for your wee grandson and for all those who love him.

No news IS good news, but the waiting must be torture for you.

Sending love and prayers, CrazyH.?

Went to see my grandson. I think the wait is getting to my poor d.i.l. She was quite irritable - not with me, but with my son . ...quite understandable. I thought she would have liked some company because my son had to go out. Apparently, the Specialist is on holiday and will be back on Monday. I thought they would have heard something today.
I can't remember whether I did mention that they think it's Lymphoma but I guess they have to do a Biopsy, for confirmation. Thankyou all for your prayers and thoughts. Keep them coming. Forgive me if I repeat myself xxx

If it is lymphoma, I’d be furious that this little boy and his family has been left dangling when he could have a life-threatening illness. We’re told again & again that early diagnosis is the key to curing these conditions, yet time is slipping by with him not receiving any treatment.

I hope to heaven that they’re wrong, CrazyH, I really do. flowers

He is still in my prayers. Thinking of your family

Callistemon Fri 10-Jul-20 20:11:28

I hope it is not as well.
This wait is unacceptable, crazyH and very distressing for you all.

Bellanonna Fri 10-Jul-20 20:11:53

Well at least nothing is confirmed at the moment. You just need to get the biopsy out of the way. It is awful to have to wait another few days. I’m sure your DIL was pleased to have your company and, as you say, her irritability at this time is understandable. Continuing to think of you. X

Such a worry.
My (now ex-) daughter-in-law had lymphoma. (Sorry I don't know if it was Hodgkin's or non-Hodgkins, or if that matters).
Anyway she was treated: it took a long time, but she got through.
Hopefully your grandson will do too, if that's what he has.
Thoughts and prayers for you all x

Holding onto positive thoughts for your grandson still Crazy. He’ll be in my prayers again tonight ?

EllanVannin Sat 11-Jul-20 14:09:04

They're busy telling us to see the GP if there are worries other than Covid19 but seemingly not so quick if it happens to be something that needs urgent attention. shock Not good enough.

Thinking of you all at this desperate time x

Bathsheba Sat 11-Jul-20 14:44:50

Heavens this is such a worryingly long wait for you all. I’m struggling to understand why they have not moved quicker to resolve this on one so young. My prayers for a positive outcome are constant crazy - you are not forgotten.

Urmstongran Sat 11-Jul-20 14:51:03

This is beyond awful now. Such a long time crazyH to wait for results. I’d be demented.

Again, best wishes to you all right now. x
