Hello, Good Morning & HI. I am a newby here but, I hasten to add, how can I be classed as a newby at 80 years old? Things have been a bit rough for me recently and at the moment I am imprisoned in my own house. However, the warder, my wife, is a gem and looks after me very well. I hope she reads this then I may get an extra biscuit for tea. She has me to contend with, a budgie, and a big dog, both of whom are as old as me. The dog, Benny, is a rescue dog and is quite a handful. Benny is a Staffy and is big, black, hefty and barks at everyone he sees but only because he wants to make a fuss of them. People of course don't know this and give him a wide berth................ AAHHH, some cheese sarnies have arrived so I will pause here for my lunch and play with Joey after which I will return and tell you more. Bye for now, Brian.

She means the grocery van...

shysal Fri 03-Mar-17 08:32:30

Not the van with men in white coats then?
I love seeing the wildlife although the squirrels can be a nuisance. This is my squirrel proof bird feeder! I have since bought another which works.

GrannyA, one of the kids programmes we really like is...
Postman Pat.
Nice little stories and the voices are great.

That squirrel Shysal, is inside the netting. We had clever little bu****s like that. We do, however, have special squirrel feeders which every bird in the garden goes to to eat. It's one big happy familly out there, share and share alike. I'll be back later with a list of birds that dine here.

bumblebee123 Sat 04-Mar-17 08:44:46

I've got a weak voice Bella and it takes that long to cross the room.

Bellanonna Sat 04-Mar-17 09:17:09

No, I meant are you both on your computers simultaneously and corresponding with each other? Are there actually two of you? I get puzzled and confused easily.

shysal Sat 04-Mar-17 09:30:33

Mr and Mrs B, do you two ever read and contribute to the other threads on here or even start your own? I think if you stick to this one only you are missing out on all that GN has to offer. I am sure you have interests, opinions and advice which could be shared with more of us that way.smile
Have a good day!

bumblebee123 Sat 04-Mar-17 12:57:02

Hi Bella, I thought that you were thinking there is just one of us. Believe me. or should that be us, there are two of us but how do we prove it? You have seen pictures of Benny, GOT IT, here is a photo of Victoria going up the drive with him on her mobility cart. I took the photo. I can't walk Benny, I can't walk myself, but, let's make a film, 'KEEP ON LAUGHING'..

bumblebee123 Sat 04-Mar-17 13:23:56

Hello Sal, I have made about 3 contributions to other threads. Regarding opinions and advice we generally keep those to ourselves, we don't want to get into strong verbal discussions. We do have interests that we are willing to share but they are mostly pets. We just love 'em.

Hello Bumblebees, shysal means that new posters, having introduced themselves, then move on to different threads ( depending on their interests) and contribute to the forum that way, rather than staying on this one, as very few posters will be chatting here.
There are craft threads, pet ones, and all kinds of chat ones, you don't have to go onto any news or politics ones.smile
