Still, think I was just being cynical about the mystery of your "non-existent" procedure soop being an attempt to forestall a claim?
Stranger things have happened.

Greyduster the cows were waiting for the milk train of course grin

I worked in the Health Service and my experience was that every result leaving our department had to be double-checked, countersigned, properly reported and the data archived in a retrievable form for future reference. When I hear stories of how vital information cannot be found when something has obviously gone wrong I'm afraid I always suspect foul play.

A close friend developed 'interval' breast cancer ie. it was picked up about 18 months after her last 'clear' routine screening, but at a very advanced stage with lymph node involvement. When her previous mammogram results were requested for comparison, guess what? they had disappeared.
Hope that the details about your surgery can be found soop .It must be very frustrating for you not to be able to get your hands on the surgeon's notes.

callgirl
Are you sure it was really the DWP? It rather sounds like a phishing call to me.
Had you any ongoing business with the DWP?

callgirl1 Wed 19-Apr-17 20:30:46

Galen, I had a letter from the DWP last week, saying they would ring me today, so yes, I believe it was them. They were checking that I was getting the correct amount of pension credit, even though they told me back in November that I was no longer entitled to the massive 25p per week that they were paying me.

Galen Wed 19-Apr-17 20:34:21

Hmm! I would phone local office and ask!

Galen Wed 19-Apr-17 20:37:56

After a horrible day at work, I'm very chuffed to hear that eldest did, on being told that they were going to spend Friday night here, insisted it had to be two nights!
As she is now age 5 at schol, I haven't seen her since just after Xmas!?

Galen Wed 19-Apr-17 20:38:54

Dgd not did!?

oldgoat Wed 19-Apr-17 22:04:55

Lovely photos of Muasdale callgirl. Sorry that the sun didn't shine for you last weekend.

Good news galen. A child of impeccable taste.

I seem to have entered what I call my tortoise period, keeping the head firmly in the shell. By some sort of magic I can keep up with goings on but forgive me for not responding. I am here but inside my shell

Hope those medical records are uncovered soop. I had a tvt many years back, no adverse issues so far, fingers are firmly crossed. I am not reading the news reports!

Take care all.

Morning all !!

Well did my duty driver bit last night and SiL came out and gave me a copy of his scan...it clearly shows why he's in pain with the bulging disc pushing the nerves out of alignment, so for now he has my sympathy smile . He is going to have some injections to help with the pain but before they do anything more radical , they will let the swelling go down and see if it rights itself.

In the meantime I have threatened him on pain of death not to do anything stupid....but I feel I may need to make a list saying what that entails. !!!

Lovely puppy wot!

Criminal cyberstalking Maw ?????? what idiot unsuspecting person said that smile

We are taking Sam off to visit my niece , an hours drive away . She is a newly qualified dog groomer and we want her professional opinion on whether Sam is a difficult 'customer' or not. He has come back twice looking like his current groomers cut his coat with a lawnmower and although we don't show him at dog events , he does have standards[laugh].

So she is going to give us her professional opinion.

NOW..... come closer because I can only whisper.... but we had an offer on the house last night. Its the lowest end of our price range but we are seriously considering it...... please , please keep all fingers crossed for us. I don't want to sell the house too cheaply but almost a year on the market has convinced us that the location of our house is something that can be off putting for people , so this might be too good a chance to miss .....

we shall see :-)

Happy days everyone xx

MawBroon Thu 20-Apr-17 09:02:52

<whispering> fingers crossed for you ?
Who was accusing me? Oh someone we all know under a variety of different usernames. Water under the bridge!
Your SIL's back problem sounds very ouchy. I can well imagine that bedrest is the only safe way forward. I know that it can be possible to fuse discs together but imagine the inflammation has to die right down if there is not to be damage to the nerves or spinal cord.
Wishing you all a pleasant day !

wot Thu 20-Apr-17 09:27:10

Sophie chillin'

MawBroon Thu 20-Apr-17 09:28:11

Typical sighthound position !

wot Thu 20-Apr-17 09:39:34

On mummies bed....spoilt hound!!?

oldgoat Thu 20-Apr-17 09:49:06

NandG I've just come back from walking Oscar through the fields. He got soaking wet so I took the opportunity to have a go at his tangly coat while he was distracted with a cheese-filled Kong. He is going to the groomers next week and we always get told off because he has a few knots. Each time they've charged more than the estimate because 'it was more work than expected' allegedly.
Fingers crossed for the house sale xxxxx

oldgoat Thu 20-Apr-17 09:53:01

MawB What are sighthounds, please? I've never heard that name before.

oldgoat Thu 20-Apr-17 10:10:15

wot Oscar isn't officially allowed on the bed (not my rule) but I take him upstairs with me when I take OH his breakfast in bed . Doggie has only just managed to jump up because the bed is very high. A dog bouncing on the bed is a very effective way to wake somebody...
*Oscar clearly needs his fringe trimming.

MawBroon Thu 20-Apr-17 10:14:23

Oldgoat it is generally used of dogs bred for hunting a moving prey by sight such as greyhounds, whippets, Salukis, lurchers etc. Owners of sighthound s know the undignified position well!

wot Thu 20-Apr-17 10:21:31

Oh, he's lovely!!!
What a cheek, charving you more for a knotty coat! It's their job surely.

kittylester Thu 20-Apr-17 10:42:53

Just catching up while sitting in a hospital car park waiting for DS1 to have a botox injection. We have a busy day one way and another but this appointment usually takes only 20 minutes except they only have one doctor on rather than the usual 3. We could be some time!! angry

I've asked before but will you stop posting pictures of lovely dogs - I won't be able to hold out much longer! grin

Hope the house sale happens n&g but have you now got to start hunting? Exciting! Are you going far?

cornergran Thu 20-Apr-17 11:19:53

Fingers and toes are crossed n&g, hope you can soon shout about it.
