Hi I have just rejoined, somehow I fell from the system but it’s sorted. Love GN and the discussions. I retired early 13 years ago and I was lucky that my husband was able to take early retirement as well mind you it was hard for a few years until the pensions kicked in but we had time together to follow our joint interests. At the moment spending 6 weeks in SE Asia getting a bit of sun.

Welcome Tummelthecat flowers. There are lots of member of GN in Scotland, whom I am sure you will soon get to know. From your name I assume you are a fellow cat lover. I have two, with totally different characters, who prevent me from being lonely. smile

Welcome from another Scot☺️I'm sure everyone will make you welcome. I was originally a " lurker", but the games were my way in, as I was a bit nervous at first.

Hi All, I’m a 58 year old Non Granny living in NE Scotland. Still working full time, and reading and trying to get fitter!

Thanks shysal x

Go to 'Forums', choose a suitable subject heading for your thread and 'start a discussion', simples! I use the desktop site but assume the mobile site is similar. I look forward to reading your good news. Was pleased to see that your son is making good progress. flowers

Hi just posted on the wrong place!! Good start?
I’m 62 divorced and a ‘nanny’to 4 lovely grandchildren.
I work in aged care and have done for over 20 years.
Found the site by accident and enjoyed reading all the threads ?

NannyTee Wed 22-Nov-17 05:21:53

Thank-you yes you will

Bellanonna Tue 21-Nov-17 19:53:51

Welcome NannyTee. I will probably see you in the Games Threads.

NannyTee Tue 21-Nov-17 19:45:10

Ok as long as its not me haha

shysal Tue 21-Nov-17 19:37:42

I think that is an ongoing problem, NannyTee. I eventually managed to add the GCs only for the description to say I had none!

NannyTee Tue 21-Nov-17 12:16:11

I've just spent the last half hour trying to add my grandchildren. It is blank still. Any ideas ?

Mapleleaf Sun 19-Nov-17 10:32:04

Oh, I see. Well, if there any abbreviations you are not sure about, just ask. Someone will be along to help you out. ?

NannyTee Sun 19-Nov-17 00:59:05

Thank-you Mapleleaf, I am on my Android phone you see.

Mapleleaf Sat 18-Nov-17 23:44:17

Hi NannyTee
Welcome.
DD = Darling/dear daughter
DH = Darling/dear husband etc
If you are using an iPad, the acronyms button is at the bottom.

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 18:11:46

Ahh thank-you. I am quite a loner at the moment. Stuck at home with narcolepsy/cataplexy. I had my driving licence took away so had to stop work . Was feeling quite lonely tbh x

shysal Sat 18-Nov-17 17:07:27

I use the desktop site. On here Acronyms comes at the end of the line of options starting 'Active/I'm on/watching/, above and below each thread. Not sure how it looks on the mobile site. At the very bottom of the page you can switch between the two sites.
Welcome to GN NannyTee flowers. Now you have broken the ice I look forward to seeing your future contributions. Enjoy!

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 16:36:56

What does it look like. Sorry to be a pain confused

HillyN Sat 18-Nov-17 14:44:01

If you click on the 'Acronyms' tab at the top it explains them, NannyTee.

NannyTee Sat 18-Nov-17 14:16:08

Thank-you I'm trying to work out what some of the abbreviations mean IE: DD DH etc
