I find Sheila's Wheels very good. I stuck with them because, having switched from Saga after a price comparison, when my policy came up for renewal the following year they didn't push the price up dramatically [as Saga and most other insurers do]. I was quite surprised at the time because I'd got used to insurers of all kinds playing silly so and so's every year [and I find the whole process very time consuming and, yes, very very stressful]. An insurance broker phoned me up the other day to ask if I wanted a quote for my house buildings cover. I pointed out to them that they'd refused to cover me a few years ago because I had a tree next to my house and a river up the road and that I'd been very upset by it at the time and had no intention of ever going back to them
. Oh for the days of sticking with the same company without this silly shenanigans every year. [and don't get me started on British Gas....]
