Hip pain

Have had pain on and off in my hips since I was about 20,Have had this pain now for around 3 weeks,given painkillers but only took them once as they made me feel spaced out.Just taking a Anadin or paracetamol.Whats bothering me is I am sweating when I try and do anything energetic,housework stuff.
I also have a cough. Have googled my symptoms,osteomyalgia seems to fit the bill.
It sounds quite serious,and am worried,I will go back to the Doctor. Would appreciate any advice.

Charleygirl it was a really rushed appointment they were running 2hrs late so I'm going to phone the dept and make that clear to them.. thanks..

I had an injection in my hip for bursitis, the pain got less and less and within a week disappeared, it hasn't come back, that was about 6 months ago
