Bladder discomfort

Over the last few weeks I have been suffering from a dragging pain in/around the bladder. I constantly feel the need to urinate but there is no pain when I do (relief for a minute or two). This could be stress related or my MS showing itself but its getting me down. Does anyone have any ideas of something that could help.

I drink Robinson`s Lemon Barley Water,it keeps cystitis at bay.

Cranberry juice is good for UTIs but bad for an overactive bladder/prolapse which is common post menopause. I would not take cranberry juice without knowing which issue is causing the problem.

Lemon Barley water - same composition as that awful pot. cit. stuff they used to give for UTIs

Could be a cystocele particularly as there's no discomfort or pain when peeing as wiyh cystitis, but do see your GP.
Try the Kegel exercises to strengthen everything down below. It's worth doing them anyway!

"To perform Kegel exercises, follow these steps:
Tighten (contract) your pelvic floor muscles. Hold the contraction for five seconds, then relax for five seconds.
Work up to holding the contraction for 10 seconds at a time.
Do three sets of 10 repetitions of the exercises each day".

I do them as much as possible when driving/washing up/watching telly, etc. even now while typing this....
Everything seems to droop and descend in a southerly direction as we get older. What a buggeration as soop would say grin
