I have been here before with problems after gall bladder removal .I must say I am being taken good care of by the hospital and have had scans which have shown no retained stone .In two weeks I am going to have an gastrooscopy. I would like to know if anyone has had similar symptoms to mine . I am in discomfort after eating .I don’t eat much and am losing weight .It isn’t pain it’s a feeling of being really ill . It can pass off then come back . I don’t know how I will be each day and I have two weeks before the camera so would like to know has anyone suffered from gastritis and what were the symptoms .also has anyone had this procedure where they have found a retained stone with the camera ,I am not worrying about cancer as I think this has been eliminated but the whole business is stopping me doing the things I normally do .I am afraid to plan ahead as I never know how each day will be .If anyone has been where I am I would love to hear your experience

God I feel so sorry for you ladies. It puts my " rumbling tum " in the shade as that's all it does from morn 'till night, rumble. No pain, no discomfort just a blooming embarrassment. It matters not what I eat or don't eat.
Two weeks ago at a funeral, I sat firmly with both arms down across my abdomen to muffle the sounds of the " bubble and squeak ".
I concluded a while back that it's obviously the medication I take.
The more quiet it is, the noisier my gut is. I shan't complain any more-------it's just other people " is that your stomach rumbling ?" ( from across the room with TV on ! )
All I can add is that it's a good job I sleep alone !!

I hope everyone gets sorted out for your pain and discomfort. Grated apple is good for the gut too.

Sorry you are feeling bad OP. Ex had gall bladder out a while ago. Then got pancreatic problems.
He used to mosh a mixed grill for two. Last time I saw him, he could barely get through a child’s portion.
Not sure what that means, but guess the high fat and food volume are too much without gall bladder. Vegan diet maybe?

Hi moggie 27 .it is 20 months , first I think I had a retained stone which I think passed through me ,.it was as bad a pain as the original ,.now it just seems like every other week I am ill . I am very careful what I eat . Blood tests back to day showed I am not gluten intolerant . So the only things left for the camera to show is gastritis or the bacteria that causes problems . Thanks for all your feed back ,I will let you all know. What and if they find anything .
