The article is probably worth a mention.

However, it is the way it has been presented to us pill poppers by someone who enjoys perfect health because she leads a perfect life (apparently) which is questionable.

I'm the same. Much as I hate taking Warfarin, After suffering huge blood clots in both my lungs, I need to take anti-coagulant medication to keep me alive.

Exactly! My poor late mum in law was on a good dozen + tablets all prescribed and revised regularly by GP. Of course they all had some side effects and possibly didn't help her quality of life but she needed them. Whenever she mentioned to her doctor that she had a problem, they would say she was taking so many different pills that it was difficult to pin point which was the culprit!
