I am so pleased for you, I am sitting in my garden now, a bit breezy, but it is relaxing and helping my anxiety at going into work after A/L. Sitting out there will really make a difference to you and I hope you get out on Fred.

Hi all x

Doodle the men were here for an hour to fit hand rails but
couldn’t do anymore, need i say - it’s raining in Wales. They
hope to finish Thursday.

Since they have started working here I realise how really isolated I have been since my darling daughter died. The chat
in the morning when I get up, and laughter, saying ‘good morning’ to real people not text messages.

When my darling daughter went on annual summer holidays
with husband and children, they rented a holiday cottage and
she always found a kiosk so she could telephone me to say
‘Good morning Mum’.

Younger granddaughter coming Thursday, I have missed her
so much,

And I am now house hunting ! elder granddaughter and partner have decided to buy a house, she is going to send links
to properties they like for me to view online !

Hi annie shame about the rain stopping the work. Are the hand rails fitted now?
Glad to hear your DGD is coming Thursday. That will be lovely. Hopefully, you can show off your new patio.
I am doing ok thanks. Trying not to worry too much and keeping busy.
I think it’s lovely the way your grandchildren include you in their plans. Virtual house hunting with them will be fun.

Hope you are all well.
Annie hope your rails have been fitted and things are progressing. Lovely of your granddaughter to include you in their house hunting.
Doodle and Joyce fellow plodders, hope you are ok.
I have managed another doom laden day I was dreading - I have had sleepless nights worrying about my appointment at the Rheumatology Department for my scan today. I felt so scared about going to the hospital because of the virus and all those doors, and the lift to the first floor. Anyway I managed it, only one other person there for treatment so there was nothing to worry about and the staff were so nice and very helpful. So I was in and out very quickly. A huge sigh of relief from me. So I can do these things, although I doubt myself all the time. Having said that, I have exhausted myself overthinking everything.

The men were here today, finished cementing the front path,
put more hand rails up, I don’t like the top rails they are red !
the rest are black. My son in law who isn’t came over to see it
this evening, he is a builder, I said I didn’t like the red so will
wrap fairy lights around them , he looked rather startled for a
moment ?.

Doodle you are under much stress, worry is exhausting x

Joyce you saw my mountains ? I wish I could walk up one with you and you could shout, scream, swear, what ever you
wanted to release those stifled emotions , only the ponies and
sheep to hear x

lavender how brave you were today, I assure you people without anxiety get very anxious if they have to go near a
hospital now. You were fearful but you didn’t cancel you went,
please, please, please accept much applause from all here.

House hunting ? Looked at many today, admit I struggled to
remain silent when elder granddaughter said ‘ the living room
has to have room for my sofa, it seats 7 !

Annie they really are beautiful, I would love to walk with you and yes shout scream may be laugh a little that would be so so good..
Does anyone else wake in a morning feeling like they don’t know how to get though the day, then before I know it’s bed time again. I feel like I get up go to bed get up go to bed.

We plod on joce. Some days are a joy. We feel invigorated full of energy . Others the weight of our worries lays heavily on us. Times pass lightness will follow. Keep safe.
lavender well done you. You managed the day well. Now rest and recover and store the memory so that next time you can tell yourself it wasn’t as bad as your feared ?
annie it sounds as though things are coming on. Your path is done, at long last and handrails too. (Shame about them being red but at least they are there).
How is the patio coming? Will it be finished before your granddaughter comes do you think? Personally I think fairy lights round your garden would be nice ?

I think it is a really good poem for us plodding wobblers. We should remember it because it covers so many of our worries and gives up hope.

Things do pass and without hope, what is there. I put my hopes into my prayers each day.

How are you ?

Patio finished, waited over two years but no matter, It’s there .

A gentleman neighbour called yesterday evening and offered
to take Fred out for a trial run before I try it. A woman who
lives at top end of the bungalow also called and said when I
get out on Fred to go up to her bungalow and have a cuppa
with her in her garden. This after living here three and half
years, - last verse of the poem I posted ?

annie that’s lovely. So glad it’s done. I hope you get a seat out there and enjoy the summer evenings. Is your Grandad coming today?

Spent much of today with my two granddaughters, a joy , and
I now have an Echo Dot !

I hope everyone is coping but I fear not , so much added stress
