I have to cut back on using iPad, sent photographs of my hands to the hand physiotherapist as she requested, we spoke
yesterday.

Any volunteers for PM’s so I can try voice recognition ?, my
Welsh accent causes problems ???????

I’ll give you a go annie. I love the welsh lilt to voices. My mother kept hers even though she lived most of her life in London. I’ll pm you now.

My daughter seems quite positive today and has had a session with the Psychiatrist today about anxiety, so that is good.

Just about on my way back up Annie; how about you?

Hi everyone hope you are all having a good if not better day.
For me it’s been a kinda strange day. I have found it hard to motivate myself however for the past two days I have been doing the wee workout on gransnet. Today it was Zumba and it’s was bit challenging near to the end so I did not quite complete the 30mins. Yesterday’s cardio was 20mins.

Doddle must watch Canterbury Cathedral although not sure about the cats. I have a dreadful cat phobia. I would love not to have this as it stops me from going places.

Doodle I was going to try a pm again today, the temptation
to play words games was so strong, so I curled up on sofa and
slept. So beautiful at Canterbury Cathedral isn’t it ? X

Boredom must cause tiredness, I miss conversations, use to
isolation but can’t even talk to the postman , my granddaughters don’t ‘do conversations ‘ , they do messages !

Hello annie. The young aren’t into phone calls really are they. Hope you had a nice sleep but hope it doesn’t stop you from sleeping tonight. Been raining most of the day here so not sitting on the balcony. Been reading a bit. DH has got Far From The Madding crowd download from the library. He is enjoying it. I think I remember you read it recently too, is that right? I’m very sleepy tonight so think I’ll head off early.

Hi all. Two wobbly days and I am back on track and going to sort out my stuff this afternoon. Some boxed and in the spare bedroom ready for the off. My friend phoned this morning and she is so down to earth and that keeps me going. I’ll be at her house once this lock down is over. Stay safe and sane all my lovely friends on this wonderful site. Hi Doodle I am ok thank you, being good and limiting my
time on iPad. Admit without the crosswords, and word games
and family tree research I am bored, and have more time to
fret over the housework I cannot physically do.

Annie and Doodle that made me smile about the phone calls/texting. Sometimes I do feel in a different world than the one that's going on around me. My grand daughter says things that seem like a different language .

Why keep thinking about the future, glad you are sorting you stuff out.

Raining today here, which will save watering the plants! My clematis has flowered, so pleased to see it, after it was snapped in half by the wind last year. Lovely pink flowers with a deeper pink inside, it's so lovely. Only a small thing but it cheered me.

levender I will add one more, my son in law was cooking dinner , my grandson was studying in his bedroom, son in law
said to granddaughters, ‘tell your brother dinner is ready’,
one of them sent him a text !

Rained heavily here today. A clematis, so beautiful, I so miss
gardening.

I read in my little book I keep by my bed ‘think of one good
thing which happened today’. Even on down days I find it
is possible to think of something. X

Hi Annie and all! Another positive day with much packing yesterday and a lovely email from another friend. She lives at Edinburgh and hadn’t been in touch for ages and she was so understanding. I have a holiday booked with her in the future and that is another positive. I’m still feeling a bit weepy today but not as bad. Thank you to everyone for your warm hugs and love. I’m getting there and the light at the end of the tunnel is brighter.x
