I’m sure I’m being thick Elegran, but surely Tom, Dick and Harry can only message us via GN (and can be blocked), they have no means of accessing our email addresses even if we share them by PM?

An aside - These forums can be read by any Tom Dick or Harry with an internet connection and an itchy nose. This means that posting on the open thread that you would like the link to Soop's fundraiser does mean that Tom Dick and Harry also know that you are up for donating, which could expose you to pleas from others. If you are OK with that, that is fine.

I am very happy to pass on the information to anyone who wants it, when and if I get it, but compiling a list at this stage seems a little premature to me.

My suggestion was that we each pm the link to six people after we have received the link ourselves. Wishing each recipient a Happy Christmas on this thread forms a list of who has received it.

When your receive the link you look at the names of posters who have been copied in with you and wait until the name before you posts the names of her recipients. You then send the link to six people and wish them Happy Christmas on this thread.

It will go a bit mad to begin with as more and more names are mentioned but then it will quieten down because members will have received the link.

It's a good idea to keep looking at the thread because not only can you make a list of who has received it but also spot anybody who wants to be included.

Soop said she would kick it off by sending the link to Marydoll, Baggs and Elegran so if they then forward the link to six people each - in order so there are no duplications, it should show it works.
