Hello, I wonder if any one is suffering with this ailment. I am eighty. Have been treated at a variety of hospitals over a period of ten years. First surgery carried out in 2003. Am between a rock and a hard place. Can have a colostomy at a private BMI hospital for £25,000, or wait indefinitely on the NHS waiting list with no date for the foreseeable. Every day is a challenge. I appreciate that there are countless people far worse off than I am. I would however be most grateful of any first hand information that can help me to manage this dire situation. Thank you.

That’s brilliant news - thanks for the update Aldom

Just a last push to go. Wonder what I can persuade my family to sponsor me for? Probably only a sponsored TV switch off. That would really hurt! Worth it though.

It’s a Christmas Day Lottery UK, not Christmas Eve.
Multiple millions to be won. Just imagine …….

Marydoll Thu 16-Dec-21 16:33:44

I am marvelling at the speed of all of this, who would have believed it?

soop Thu 16-Dec-21 16:32:37

You lot are lovely peoples. Kind and generous of spirit. I am looking forward to the delivery of the letter that will come from the surgeon. Patience must continue to be exercised. I do my best. smile

Aveline Thu 16-Dec-21 16:15:45

Good idea Tilly. I haven't done the lottery for ages - am bound to win something!!hmm

TillyTrotter Thu 16-Dec-21 15:32:43

Mr Soop's update...
Soop has very kindly offered to darn the holes in the mini sporran and give it a trim along the edge with her pinking shears. OUCH! Best to take it off first, thank you.
As for the fishnets, I have not had so much excitement in YEARS. wink

Katek Thu 16-Dec-21 13:07:32

Just had a passing thought…….can you twerk a sporran?? grin

Charleygirl5 Thu 16-Dec-21 12:54:55

That is fabulous news. So near yet so far.

I do not buy lottery tickets so I am not expecting a big win until early next month when my premium bonds come up trumps. As I have said before, it is a minor admin error the money had not winged its way in my direction.

Marydoll Thu 16-Dec-21 12:30:21

Doodle

Who needs fishnets when you have sexy bootees like these ?
Ho Ho Ho

I wore a pair of those to a staff night out and had an allergic reaction to them. I whipped them off half way through the night, the itch was unbearable.
However, they did only cost £1 in Poundland!

OnwardandUpward Thu 16-Dec-21 11:58:29

That's a step in the right direction! TillyTrotter

Best foot forwards ladies! grin

TillyTrotter Thu 16-Dec-21 11:55:40

£13,435 now peeps! Deserves a fanfare I think ? ? ?
(avoiding the b word).

muse Thu 16-Dec-21 11:51:54

Excellent Doodle.. These would be great for MrMuse. His big toe nails are lethal and wear through the toughest of socks. His big toes would fit up the curly bit.?

Doodle Thu 16-Dec-21 10:57:07

Only the foot ones Tilly the bodily lumps and bumps (overeating in lockdown) are still visible. Perhaps I should invest in a full Santa outfit ?

TillyTrotter Thu 16-Dec-21 10:52:15

Love, love, love those Doodle ?
Also they hide a multitude of “lumps and bumps”

Calistemon Thu 16-Dec-21 10:22:48

TillyTrotter

Mine too Callistemon !
“Bumps” galore - am awaiting an operation to rid them of dreaded Bunions.

People would pay good money not to see mine!

Marydoll Thu 16-Dec-21 10:18:54

Housework? I am afraid that is a word, with which am unfamiliar !?

Blossoming Thu 16-Dec-21 10:18:38

It’s now at £13,435! Those foot pictures are working ?

OnwardandUpward Thu 16-Dec-21 10:08:10

Marydoll it's because we don't do housework with our feet!! grin At least, I don't! grin
