Cone Biopsy Results

That's good news. When I had my recall a few years ago, it turned out to be a cyst. They drained it there and then. I was so relieved.

Thank you to everyone the support meant a lot. I was getting ready for the appointment and got a phone call to tell me I didn’t need to attend because it was a benign cyst! The relief is overwhelming. I don’t have breast cancer 🎉🎉🎉

I am a breast cancer survivor. I had a mastectomy in 1998 and I'm still here.... and procedures are bound to have improved tremendously in all those years.

Good luck and I hope all goes well. You're doing brilliantly.

Hope all goes well....when I had a core biopsy they told me they were very certain it was cancer and that the biopsy was to confirm.....so the fact you wernt told this is promising.....if they suspect they will tell you from the off

Buttonjugs I had a cone biopsy and my result was positive..but.. 24 years later and I am still here.
My lump was quite big when I found it, mammogram showed nothing, ultrasound showed nothing but the consultant radiographer had a hunch so asked the consultant in the dept that day to see me and do a cone biopsy.
I was operated on two weeks later.
The figures today show that most women will make a good recovery, things have improved even since I was diagnosed.
I shall be thinking of you tomorrow and willing you on to be positive whatever you are told.

I had a scare, but it didn't turn out to be cancer - I think most tests are negative.

Thank you. I think most tests are negative but they said most follow up ultrasounds are negative too! And because of my previous journey being the same I guess expecting the worst. But if it’s the best it will be a bonus ☺️ I’ll be back tomorrow.
