I had success with SW a few years ago and have kept it off.
Do you have a friend you can slim with, it does help?

Maybe you need to think of this as your “job” for the next year. Start by being ruthless in the kitchen. Don’t have anything in your fridge or cupboards that you know is high calories. Make meal plans for the week ahead.

You say you walk a lot - how much is a lot? 3 miles, 5 miles? Can you go swimming? Use YouTube videos to keep moving at home.

In some areas your GP can refer you to your local gym. A regular slow loss is what you should aim for. A pound a week soon mounts up to a stone. Be strict with yourself though, it’s not easy.. I hope you’re successful as you will certainly feel the benefit.

I know it’s a perpetual problem with us ladies ,but I am at a loss at what to do, I am 72 with at least 3stone to lose , I have always battled with my weight but now it’s beyond a joke. After trying SW, WW replacement meal plans etc, and having little success I saw the doctor who told me my 20+ years on Prozac has wrecked my metabolism Which I feel is a bit odd , but I really need to lose this weight abd don’t know which way to turn next. I do walk a lot but that my only exercise as I have heart disease so cannot do frantic exercise
