I do feel for him and his family, it is a horrible disease and traumatises the whole family.
DH was in the same situation when diagnosed, aggressive and already spread.

Such very sad news.

I'm just not sure that announcing the timescale of my demise would be the way forward for me. My fear would be, if you're a high profile person, will the media leave you alone now?

My thoughts are with his family, it's heartbreaking.

I too was shocked to read this having had many scans myself this summer I have an inkling of how he is feeling. He is such a lovely man.

It’s heartbreaking news, they have a hard road to travel. I hope they have a good support network around them.

This is such heartbreaking news. Karmalady has expressed my own hopes for this amazing family. Life can be so unkind.

My goodness, that is so sad. ‘Troubles come not as single spies, but in battalions’ was never so true. My heart goes out to them.

My family are shattered at this news, dd used to do revolutions at Manchester, says that Chris is the nicest kindest person. I now hope that this lovely family can form the protective bubble around themselves so that they can find peace and quiet acceptance as a family

So very sad

I am stunned to read that Sir Chris has stage 4 terminal cancer.
The cancer of the prostate has spread to his bones.
His wife has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis. They have two children.
I can’t find the words to describe my sadness.
