I had a mild stroke last june.At first I couldn't vocalist .In fact was pretty much out of it! Don,t remember very much of the first 48 hours! And I was told afterwards that during that time I was talking rubbish!I am almost back to normal now though.
My best wishes for your husband!

I know several people who have had strokes of varying severity. I know the right treatment in the first few hours is crucial. There is so much more can be done and speedy rehabiliation is also key.
This must be very upsetting for you, but trust the experts and I hope your DH is on the mend and home soon.

Do contact the Stroke Association. Very helpful and informative.

My daughter in law recently survived that sort of stroke and, significantly, recovered all her powers to such an extent she has taken control of all her powers of physical movement and courage, and is shortly returning to work
